A fire broke out last night at the "Bobov Dol" TPP, BNT reported.
The fire has been completely extinguished, but a team on duty remains on site.
The fire caused material damage only to the transformer where it originated.
No people were injured, BTA specified.
The incident was also reported on the Facebook page of Golemo Selo, located near the power plant.
„Dear residents, a transformer is on fire at the First Unit at the "Bobov Dol" TPP. The services have been notified and are doing what is necessary to control the situation. "There is no danger to the population for now," the published statement said.
