“In order for a protest or rebellion to lead to a result, several conditions are needed – it must be directed in the right direction and solve key things, and those who carry it out must be those who can do it”. This was commented on the show –Your Day” on NOVA NEWS by Anton Kutev, former spokesman for the governments of Galab Donev and Stefan Yanev.
”In the previous protests – about the leva - I said that this is not the most important thing. This one is much better directed – the judicial system, corruption are key things. But the people I see there, some of them also participated in the protests in 2020, then joined forces with Borisov and Peevski and changed the Constitution together,” commented Kutev.
“If there is something I miss in this protest, it is its legitimacy from the point of view of the people. The real leaders need to be found”, said Anton Kutev.
According to him, the thesis that the elections reproduce only this status quo and nothing else serves the ruling party. “It is best for the ruling party to go and count before the new year. Whether they will dare is another conversation. The idea that nothing will change in the next elections –is absolutely false. These elections, whenever they are, will fundamentally change the picture," said Kutev.
He also commented that a campaign for the introduction of the euro and measures against the appreciation were needed.
