The composition of the Court of Accounts has been completed, BNR reported.
Elected for 7 years, Maria Ilieva was nominated by the Institute of Internal Auditors in Bulgaria.
She was supported by deputies from GERB-SDF, DPS-New Beginning, BSP-United Left, ITN and 1 independent.
"Vazrazhdane" voted against, and the other four parliamentary groups did not participate in the vote.
Ilieva is also a former deputy from GERB.
In mid-May, deputies elected the two deputy chairmen of the Court of Accounts, proposed by the head of the Audit Authority and former caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev. These are Silvia Kadreva and Margarita Nikolova.
