Ivelin Mihaylov: There are deputies from GERB, BSP and ITN who may support the vote of no confidence - 1

There are deputies from GERB, BSP and ITN who are hesitant about supporting the vote of no confidence. This was stated to BNT by the leader of "Velichye" Ivelin Mihaylov, quoted by novini.bg. He, however, refused to name their names, arguing that they may be subject to political pressure. He himself complained about repression by Delyan Peevski.

Asked why he did not protest against this injustice, Mihaylov pointed out: "If you tell me where Delyan Peevski lives, I promise that this person will not feel comfortable".

The leader of "Velichy" agreed 100% with Rosen Zhelyazkov's statement that the ruling party and the opposition inhabit parallel universes.

"He is building a hotel for 30 million euros, and people have nothing to pay for their electricity. This person has been a politician his whole life, he has no way of collecting such funds," Mihaylov commented.

He also gave his opinion on the subject of the case of the beating of the Ruse police chief. Mihaylov described the measures taken against the detained youths (editor's note: "house arrest") as "a fair decision". "This is a fight caused by both sides", said the leader of "Velichye".

"If the police's right to beat is restored as in Germany, Belgium, France, the police will be beaten while they are not in uniform. Bulgarian society will not tolerate a violent person like Delyan Peevski coming and giving orders to the police. When the police are in a totalitarian grip, beating police would mean a great loss of freedom," he also commented.
