Tsarevo Municipality begins the removal of illegal buildings in a campsite near Lozenets. The action takes place at the start of the summer season. The period in which the campsite owner had the opportunity to voluntarily remove the objects has already expired.
"The detected illegal objects are 154. Including commercial areas, a shop and a restaurant. Today, the order to remove 14 objects will be proceeded with. These are caravans in which wooden structures are built. The review started in 2022, there was a deadline for voluntary removal multiple times. The latest court decision is from May 15 for 44 sites," said Marin Kirov, mayor of Tsarevo Municipality, quoted by BNT.
"Execution of orders that have entered into force is currently taking place. I voluntarily began to fulfill them. The big problem is that we don't have a law that says what can happen and how camping should be done in Bulgaria. This plot is part of Campsite South which was made in 1974 and most of the bungalows are here. We have parked caravans on the site of some of these bungalows, and actually, because I am the owner of the land, I have to demolish what was built 40 years ago, because at one point it was illegal", commented Yavor Atanasov, owner of the campsite.< /p>
