Apartments, offices and shops will be built in place of the current hotel "Mirage" in Burgas. At the upcoming meeting of the Municipal Council, a report submitted by Mayor Dimitar Nikolov will be considered, requesting deviations from the rules and regulations regarding the intensity coefficient for the specific property. The proposal for change comes from "Bulgarian - American Travel Company" Ltd. - owner of the property. The company is owned by Dinko and Yordan Dinevi.
The height of the new building, located on one of the central roundabouts in the seaside city, will be 75 meters. In addition to housing, offices and shops, a four-level parking lot with a capacity of over 100 parking spaces will be built, as well as a connection of the third floor with public functions to the pedestrian walkway that passes over the roundabout on “Stefan Stambolov“ Blvd.
Currently, the terrain is located in a mixed central zone, with a specific zoning regime “T28“, which imposes restrictions on development. In order to implement the project for the new building, it is planned to change the functional purpose of the property from “for a hotel“ to “for mixed use“.
The “Mirage“ Hotel was built in 2002. The architecture of the 4-star complex is by arch. Petko Yovchev.
