The Sofia City Court has remanded in custody the 15-year-old boy who stabbed and killed his peer in a Sofia mall on October 19.
The court has ruled that there is no danger that the boy will flee, but there is a risk that he will commit another crime.
He had criminal records. The last one was for robbery this year.
According to the court, the measure "supervision of the Children's Pedagogical Room" did not give the necessary result.
The boy's health problem is congenital, but does not prevent the young man from being detained in custody.
The court session yesterday was suspended due to the boy's deteriorating health. He was taken to "Pirogov" by ambulance, and today he was examined by pediatric cardiologists at the National Cardiology Hospital.
