The woman who sent online threats to the singer Dara Ekimova, the influencer Yasmin Kirilova and the music producer Sanya Armutlieva enters a psychiatric clinic for compulsory treatment, BNT reported.

The District Court in Plovdiv ruled that 28-year-old Gergana Nedelcheva should remain in the medical facility for the maximum period of 3 months established by the Health Act. The forensic psychiatric examination established that Nedelcheva has a mental illness.

In the courtroom today, Gergana Nedelcheva was brought by a medic from the Center for Mental Health in Plovdiv, where she has been treated for the past two weeks. According to her defense, Nedelcheva stopped threatening Dara Ekimova after the case started.

"Ultimately, it is important that the person be treated so that, on the one hand, she has the necessary healing and, on the other hand, peace of mind is created on the part of the victims of her verbal threats and threats." commented Dara Ekimova's lawyer Desislava Mateva.

However, Yasmin Kirilova claims that the threats to her continued for several days after the first meeting in early September.

"You can't do anything to me, you can't bring me in, I will kill the child - with details of how he will kill him, what he will do. It is generally aimed at the child. "Probably because he knows that this is my weak point and it is definitely evident that he quite consciously makes the threats," explained Yasmin Kirilova.

Today's court session was held behind closed doors.

"The court granted our request, taking into account what the expert stated, that the proposed one suffers from a mental illness, is dangerous to herself and others, and the most adequate behavior and compliance with the provisions of the Health Act is placement in psychiatric facility for a period of three months in the city of Kardjali", explained Dimitar Pehlivanov from the District Prosecutor's Office in Plovdiv.

Gergana Nedelcheva accepted the court ruling calmly and without comment. The court appointed Gergana's mother as her guardian. She denies that her daughter made threats.

"She is sick, she has a diagnosis, but they start everything, everything has been a provocation for years. I just want the case to be investigated, my child is innocent and they are trying in every way, within a year she has four examinations, is this normal", commented Steliyana Nedelcheva.

After the court decision, Gergana Nedelcheva was immediately taken to the specialized clinic. And Yasmin Kirilova admitted that she is much calmer now, after having fought against the harassment that lasted for two years.

"I am definitely glad that firstly she will get help, because she really needs it, and secondly, that Dara and I will live some kind of peaceful life," Yasmin Kirilova added.

Yasmin Kirilova announced that her efforts will now be focused on legal changes, so that no one else suffers.
