The court decides whether to keep the detained current MP and candidate for the people's office in custody representative Jeyhan Ibryamov, BNT reported.
He was arrested on Wednesday evening when receiving 100 thousand BGN marked money. According to the prosecutor's office, Ibryamov requested the sum of 400,000 BGN from a long-time acquaintance of his, in return for a promise to assist him in obtaining public procurement in the Ministry of Defense.
The state prosecution claims that the candidate for deputy declared that he would use the money to buy votes. Following a request from the investigators, his immunities were already lifted by the National Assembly and the CEC.
