A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged a man who hit a policeman with his car in Pleven in an attempt to avoid a traffic check. The uniformed man ended up on the front cover of the car, but the driver did not stop and drove like that for more than a kilometer on the streets of the city. The law enforcement officer has a brain injury, a rib fracture and a lung injury, the press center of the District Prosecutor's Office-Pleven reports.
On October 7, a police officer from the Second RU - Pleven, after receiving information, took action to uncover and prevent trafficking of women for the purpose of sexual exploitation, according to the state prosecution.
The uniformed officer stopped the suspect Yu. A., who was driving a car, and began an investigation. However, the driver suddenly drove off and the employee who was in front of the car ended up on its front cover. However, the suspect did not stop, but attempted to flee at high speed, dragging the police officer along with him. After more than a kilometer on the streets of Pleven, the uniform fell from the hood onto the roadway.
The suspect has been convicted, according to the prosecutor's office. He was detained for a period of up to 72 hours by decree of the supervising prosecutor from the District Prosecutor's Office-Pleven.
The submission of a request to the District Court-Pleven to take a measure of remand "detention in custody" is pending.
