The voice of the writer Dimitar Dimov is heard again in his home in Sofia, BNT reported.
Thus, the 115th anniversary of his birth will be celebrated in the house-museum of the writer. Visitors can also see him in a different light through the exhibition "Dimitar Dimov as an artist".
The audio recording that filled Dimitar Dimov's home is a French lesson recorded by him on his home tape recorder during the last year of his life.
The French phrases read match those on the manuscripts that still sit on his desk today - in his typical left-leaning handwriting. Together with his "Sun" cigarettes, matches and glasses have been intact for more than 50 years.
Atanas Kapralov, director of the National Literary Museum: "He is simply a polyphonic mind that has been realized in an awful lot of directions both as a writer and as a scientist, and as you can see he painted, and we the National Literary Museum and House museum "Dimitar Dimov" we always show new elements of his versatile talent every time."
Stoyan Chobanov, house-museum "Dimitar Dimov" in Sofia: "One of his classmates says: He used to draw with both his left and right hand, and he shouted, he drew one caricature with his left hand and one with his right hand, and then we cut them out and when we put them on top of each other, they absolutely overlap. Can you imagine what talent."
Artist, photographer, veterinarian, writer - the world of Dimitar Dimov is vast. But there are many stories about his life hidden in his home and waiting to be told.
