Russell Nelson, president of the American religious association "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" (also known as Mormons), died at the age of 101.
The news was announced on the church's website.
„We are sad to announce that Russell M. Nelson, beloved president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, passed away peacefully at his home in Salt Lake City,“ the statement said.
