Singer Lena Katina admitted in an interview with journalist Alena Zhigalova that the group "Tatu" had considered changing the lyrics of their hits after their reunion.
Katina explained that she and Yulia Volkova cannot currently perform the song "Я сошла с ума" in Russian due to Russian law. The singer believes that the group may be banned from performing live if it continues to sing the song in Russian.
Katina noted that she is categorically against changing the lyrics of songs, including the track "Я сошла с ума".
„I firmly believe that you cannot remove the lyrics from a song. Especially from our songs. We were considering this option. I think our songs should not change“, admitted the singer.
Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova gave a concert in Yalta on July 19.
Katina noted that the initiative to reunite with Yulia Volkova initially came from her management, but then the two decided to perform together in Belarus and announced a full-fledged comeback for the summer of 2025.
