As the press recently announced, one of the iconic turbo-folk stars of the Balkans – Dragana Mirkovic initiated a divorce. She made the difficult decision after a 24-year marriage and two children, writes novini.bg, referring to Telegraf.
Now, however, begins the most difficult part of her separation from Toni Bielich – the division of common property and assets in bank accounts. And these are millions who in the good old days generously spent on each other.
Her huge castle is well known, in which there are countless rooms, some of which also house her own television channel. It is worth tens of millions of euros. Separate are the bank accounts in which it is not known how much the money is.
There is also a castle and a villa in Vienna, and people in the know claim that her wealth exceeds 100 million dollars.
The divorce case begins, the first hearing of which has already been scheduled.
Although there was initially talk of an amicable divorce in society, this will not happen, writes Telegraph.
Dragana has decided to divide the property they have through court, as "another agreement is not possible at the moment,", according to a source close to the couple.
Dragana recently informed the public with the following statement that she is divorcing Toni, with whom she has two children - daughter Manuela and son Marco:
“As someone who has built his entire life on honesty, I feel a moral obligation to address the entire public today. It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that I have filed for divorce.
My relationship with Tony hasn't been what it used to be for quite some time now, and for the past three years we've practically been living separate lives and not living under the same roof. Despite all the insurmountable differences, for the sake of my family and because I was raised this way, I did everything to save what we once had. However, as time went on, the differences between us grew bigger and I realized that we do more damage to our loved ones by forcing ourselves to stay in something that doesn't work for a long time than by ending our marriage.
“I certainly remain true to my principles, to my way of life, as I remain true to my family and my audience, and I will always respect Tony - I will respect him as the father of my children and a man with whom I have spent many beautiful years” , adds the singer, as I asked the media for cooperation and respect for this decision of hers, so as not to increase the burden of the moment that her whole family is going through.
Until this moment, the media has definitely avoided excessive interest and peeking under the singer's sheets.
Her close friend Lepa Brena has already expressed her sympathy for Dragana's devastated family and declared her full support.
Tsetsa Velickovic, who is not particularly close to Dragana, also shared that it is always painful to learn that a good family has broken up.
