A Russian man who was late for his flight, rushing to the Yekaterinburg airport, decided to prevent the plane from taking off, calling about a bomb on board, reported the portal Forpost.
The incident happened on the evening of July 3 during a flight from Koltsovo Airport to Penza. One of the passengers of the Superjet-100 missed the landing and gave a bomb alert on board the plane, authorities said.
As a result, people were removed from the plane for inspection. No dangerous substances were found on board, and the offender was identified and detained. According to FlightRadar, the plane eventually departed for its destination airport almost two hours late.
The flight of another plane from Yekaterinburg to Kemerovo was interrupted because of a passenger who felt sick on board. A 17-year-old Russian girl's blood pressure dropped and she lost consciousness.
