Brendo asked for a special menu in prison, they respected him

A special menu for Evelyn Banev-Brendo is prepared by the chef in the Sofia Central Prison, where the Cocaine King is serving a 6-year sentence for trafficking on drugs. It says "Bulgaria Today", citing his sources in prison.

Brendo has serious stomach problems and they haven't been for a day or two. This has prompted him to release an application in which he writes what he can eat and what he cannot eat, so that there are no complications later. They are obliged to comply with this request from the prison administration, and they do so.

"We take into account the stomach problems of the prisoners. We have a chef who accepts the requests of the inmates and cooks whatever they need according to their different needs. We have menus for vegetarians, for Muslims. In general, we have many different menus for all needs and cooking budgets. If Banev has made a request that he wants us to take into account his condition, we are certainly already doing so. Such a request did not go through me, it is possible that it went through the commandant, but I do not know for sure." This is what he told "Bulgaria Dnes" the head of the Sofia Central Prison, Senior Commissioner Vasil Kordev.

The head of the prison specified that Brendo is adapting and is not yet with the other inmates.

"Banev is in the reception department of the prison. The adaptation period is currently running, which is between 14 days and 1 month. Banev has not yet been assigned exactly where he will lie, in which wing. This will happen when this adaptation period is over," explains Senior Commissioner Cordev.
