A man, who was detained in the British Museum for taking pictures under the skirt of an unsuspecting female visitor, was sentenced to four months in prison, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
Thirty-three-year-old Colombian citizen Jake Verano Gomez was arrested on August 19 by an off-duty London police officer.
Other similar footage, believed to have been taken on the same day, was found on the phone of the man, who has no fixed abode. Police have urged people who were at the British Museum on August 19 at around 2pm to alert law enforcement if they suspect possible abuse by the convicted Colombian.
Gomez was sentenced to four months in prison after pleading guilty. He will also have to pay court costs and remain on police registers for seven years under the Sex Offenses Act 2003.
