A humpback whale entangled in fishing nets was rescued off the coast of Canada, NOVA reported.
In the action, which lasted nearly 4 days, experts from the Agency for Fisheries and Conservation of Marine Species in Ottawa, as well as the coast guard, came to the rescue.
The huge mammal was entangled in fishing nets, which impeded its movement. At least 50 ropes had to be cut to free him. Humpback whales can reach up to 14 meters in length and weigh about 45 tons.
