It's so boring, boring, unimaginably meaningless to life that... it's really better to wake up and still have some kind of commitment ahead of you, to prepare for the next battle of life, to stir up your mind, your senses, your emotions, yes you make an effort that will develop you. I hear how Dogan's internal enemies today mercilessly describe him as a mythomaniac, as an alcoholic, as weathered, etc. I don't know if he is a mythomaniac, but he led DPS to a mini-empire in the state. DPS isolation rattles are ridiculous. Isolation only created conditions for tempering the character of DPS. It is better for DPS to be in power with clear responsibility, because behind the scenes creates a comfortable irresponsibility.
But the big key question is what kind of party should and can DPS be?! How big, with what weight, with what leader, how locked for external pressure, how unlocked for Bulgarian participation, whether it is strongly liberal and globalist or, on the contrary, anti-globalist?! Especially against the background of Erdogan's Turkey - conservative and turned to traditions, with an ambition for leadership of the Islamic world. The question is how in depth does the DPS relate to Bulgaria, whether as a homeland that we should all take care of, or as a territory for draining and a springboard for other, more complex purposes?!
The question is also, is the DPS being cleansed of the demonization acquired in past times, or is it still stuck in this mire?! DPS is a party with corporatist, not ideological, manners. The ideology is about decor variety. But DPS is certainly a party! With serious structures and commitments, ethnomonolithic. A party that has access to all sectors of power. And which cannot be bypassed, closed, broken, split, etc. But that is precisely why the DPS from a calm and responsible party can turn (God forbid) into a dangerous tool used by global and regional factors. Due to his great experience, Dogan, unlike Peevski, is aware of what in life is possible, what is not possible, what is risky, what is too much and what will happen next. What will happen next! Dogan is aware.
In this sense, Dogan himself is a palette of power of a different nature, and ethnic power, and leadership power, and party power, and historical power, and real power such as disposition of people and participation in politics. Well, maybe age and excess have made him more indifferent to the biting issues and details of the party, but certainly not more stupid. History is driven by people who have the ability to think strategically, who allow themselves to develop an intelligent environment, it is driven by people who master their emotions, who know their desires and can subdue and control them.
