The scheme under which the "Historical Park" of the leader of the political party "Velichy" is being built is falling apart. This is claimed in an investigation by the newspaper "Kapital", quoted by FOCUS.
According to the publication, in the last year Mihaylov's companies, from which he formally left in April after becoming an MP, have accumulated seizures of over 2 million and 100 thousand leva.
The total amount is higher because the National Revenue Agency has seized some assets, mainly cars, without giving them a financial assessment. These are only the liabilities to the treasury, as according to information from "Kapital" through various private bailiffs there are still pending claims from the park and related companies.
The collapse is due to a lack of credit. The park itself has minimal operating income and is operating at a loss.
Today, Ivelin Mihaylov was not available for comment. However, in his statement, he stated that it was possible to save the park.
"We did not receive any support. The park could have been used by hoteliers, tourism and business. For some reason, we were isolated. As soon as we are finished, we will bear responsibility," said Ivelin Mihaylov, NOVA reported.
