British Prime Minister Called to Sanction Elon Musk for Calls for Violence - 1

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has been called to sanction "Ex" and "Tesla" owner Elon Musk after he addressed an anti-immigration rally via video link with a warning that "violence is coming" and that Britons must "fight or die", the AP reported, BTA reported.

Starmer strongly condemned the violence during the "Let's Unite the Kingdom" demonstration, which gathered more than 100,000 people on Saturday in London and was organized by far-right activist Tommy Robinson.

The police said that 26 of their officers were injured, four of them seriously, when protesters tried to break through police cordons and reach an anti-racism counter-protest. 25 people were arrested, with authorities warning that more arrests were coming.

Musk called in an address for the dissolution of the British parliament, early elections and a change of government. "Violence is coming to you. "You either fight or die," he said.

Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey called on Prime Minister Starmer and Conservative Party leader Camille Badenoch to join in condemning Musk, accusing him of trying to sow discord, incite violence in the streets and interfere with British democracy. He urged the government to consider what sanctions to impose on Musk.

Starmer did not comment directly on Musk's words, but wrote in "Ex" that peaceful protests are at the heart of Britain's values, but he will not allow attacks on police officers or people to feel threatened because of their origin or the color of their skin.

This is not the first time Elon Musk has expressed support for far-right figures and movements in Europe. He is an ally of Donald Trump and has in the past stood behind figures such as Tommy Robinson, convicted of fraud and founder of the anti-Islamic organization "English Defense League".

Musk has also been critical of efforts by governments in the UK and Europe to limit harmful content online, describing them as an attack on free speech.
