Iran will be forced to take new decisions on cooperation with the IAEA, as the agreement reached in Cairo with the agency has become invalid after the reimposition of sanctions by the UN Security Council. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
„After several rounds of negotiations in Cairo, an agreement was reached with the IAEA, but now the Cairo agreement is insufficient due to new realities, including the rapid return mechanism, and new decisions will be taken“, he said during a press conference after a meeting with heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Tehran.
