Putin announced a new weapon, possibly more powerful than Oreshnik

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a new weapon that could be more powerful than the already known "Oreshnik", said State Duma deputy Andrei Kolesnik, reported the Serbian Novosti, quoted by FOKUS.

If Putin is talking about a new weapon, it means that it will be of strategic importance, but probably more precise and destructive... I think it will be more powerful than "Oreshnik", Kolesnik said.

He added that no one knows where the new weapons will be deployed, but that NATO command centers "will have nowhere to hide".

Since Putin announced it, it means that the weapons already exist, the deputy concluded. After his visit to Tajikistan, Putin indicated that tests of the new weapon were successful, but did not reveal details about its characteristics.
