North Korean President Kim Jong-un said that Pyongyang will always be next to Moscow. His words were quoted by the Korean Central News Agency.
On October 23, he spoke at a ceremony to break the ground for a museum in honor of soldiers of the Korean People's Army who participated in the battles in Russia's Kursk region.
“In the harsh turbulences of history, Korean-Russian friendship has acquired its eternal vitality, its strength has been tested. Now it has reached its zenith“, said Kim Jong-un.
He called the friendship between the countries “a common treasure“ and expressed confidence that the forces seeking hegemony and despotism will not be able to “stop the development of relations between the DPRK and Russia, which have become even more united in bloody battles“.
“Pyongyang will always be with Moscow. Our friendship and unity will be eternal“, said Kim Jong-un.
Russian Ambassador to Pyongyang Alexander Matsegora attended the ceremony. “Long live our heroic army! Long live the indestructible Korean-Russian friendship!“, the North Korean leader concluded his speech.
