Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic believes that European countries are preparing for a possible military conflict with Russia.
“Analyzing the facts, I come to the conclusion that a war between Europe and Russia is becoming more and more obvious. This is not just empty news. Everyone is preparing for it,“ Vucic said on Pink TV on Monday, commenting on the statement of the French Chief of the General Staff Fabien Mandon that the French army should be ready for a clash with Russia in three to four years.
Vucic also said that Serbia is “between a rock and a hard place“ in the context of the goals pursued by Western countries and Russia.
He added that Serbia must continue to strengthen its army in order to defend itself. “We must continue to strengthen the army. We arm ourselves wisely. We must continue to invest seriously in order to defend our country,“ he noted.
