US President Donald Trump scolded a reporter on a flight on Air Force One after being asked about the results of a recent MRI test, The Independent reports. Trump assured that the test went perfectly and accused the reporter that she "wouldn't pass" the cognitive exam, Focus reports.
When asked what part of the body was examined, the president replied: "I have no idea. It was just an MRI. It wasn't the brain, because I passed the test perfectly."
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who requested the results be released, told NBC News that "Trump's mental abilities" are a cause for concern.
This This is not the first time Trump has made harsh remarks about female reporters, including Nancy Cordes of CBS News and Katie Rogers of the New York Times. The White House defended the president, saying the reporters were behaving "inappropriately and unprofessionally."
Trump announced his intention to release the results of an MRI he underwent in October.
