Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reiterated his categorical refusal to cede any territory from Ukraine, resisting U.S. pressure to make painful concessions to Russia, the Associated Press reported.

"There is no doubt that Russia is demanding that we cede territories. We obviously do not want to cede anything. That is what we are fighting for," Zelensky told reporters in a WhatsApp chat.

"Are we considering ceding territories? According to the law, we do not have such a right," he said. "We have no such right under Ukrainian law, under our constitution, under international law, and, frankly, we have no moral right to do this", Zelensky added.

Meanwhile, it became known that President Donald Trump's envoys have given Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky several days to respond to the proposed peace agreement, according to which Ukraine would accept territorial losses in exchange for unspecified security guarantees from the United States, the "Financial Times" reported.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko also said today that she had discussed the appointment of an investment advisor for the US-Ukrainian Fund for Reconstruction and Investment and strengthening energy cooperation with the United States with Treasury Secretary Scott Besant, Reuters reported.

Sviridenko, who said in English on the social network "Ex" that the company "Alvarez & Marsal" has been appointed as the fund's investment advisor and that the next stage in its development is "identifying priority projects and translating commitments into concrete results".

She said her discussions on energy cooperation included "expanding Ukraine's ability to purchase American liquefied natural gas to meet its domestic needs and strengthen Europe's overall energy security".
