Russian forces are making progress in the areas of Gulyaipole, Pokrovsk and Mirnograd, with the most tense situation remaining in the Pokrovsk direction and in the Zaporizhia region. Russian troops are continuing their offensive actions on several fronts simultaneously, the Ukrainian analytical monitoring project DeepState reports in its assessment as of December 28, 2025, Focus reports.
According to analysts, Russian units have advanced in the areas of Pokrovsk and Mirnograd, as well as near Rodinske, Chervony Liman and Novoikonomichno. Over the past 24 hours, the territory under Russian control in this sector has increased by about 17 square kilometers.
An offensive was also reported in the area of Gulyaipole, as well as near the village of Zelene. In this area, Russian troops have captured another 4.81 square kilometers of territory over the past 24 hours, according to the project's data.
