An avalanche in northern Italy has killed one person and injured two others, world agencies reported, citing Italian rescue services, dariknews.bg reported.
The snow mass buried a total of four people who were skiing in the Piedmont region, which borders France. The avalanche hit them at an altitude of about 2,300 meters.
One person is missing. The search for him continues, but weather conditions are making the operation difficult.
