On the evening of February 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone with United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Russian President thanked his counterpart for effective cooperation through intelligence services and for the UAE's assistance in detaining a suspect in the terrorist attack on Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseev.
The two heads of state also continued to discuss topics that were on the agenda during the UAE President's recent visit to Moscow.
