The Supreme Secretary of Iran's National Security Council Ali Larijani has proposed to the United States to resume talks on the Iranian nuclear issue, The Wall Street Journal reports.
According to the newspaper, the proposal was conveyed through Oman, which acted as a mediator in the negotiations, after the start of the US-Israeli military operation against the Islamic Republic.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that the new leadership of Iran had initiated talks with Washington. He added that the authorities of the Islamic Republic themselves had initiated contact after the start of the military operation.
