Currently, the cafe "Tea House", whose owner is listed as individual entrepreneur Alisher Khatamovich Kasimov, is sealed, signs and names have been removed from the establishment.
According to eyewitnesses, the cafe was visited by a large number of people, including taxi drivers. "We are regular customers. There are a lot of customers here, people were walking, taxi drivers came here all the time. Russians and Muslims are also going, our friends. “Immediately after the accident, the cafe was closed, the signs were removed,” a tractor driver working next door told TASS. According to him, he has more than once seen Kasimov, who himself cooked for customers.
„We personally saw each other two or three times. We went to the cafe several times, ate the sambusa there and he made it himself. He both managed and worked there”, said the interlocutor of the agency, adding that Kasimov lived somewhere nearby, in Putilkovo.
According to a second eyewitness, who worked next to the cafe, Kasimov has several restaurants, but he does not know if they have already closed.
On March 26, the Basman Court of Moscow took into custody Kasimov, who rented an apartment to the perpetrators of the terrorist attack. He is originally from Kyrgyzstan, but renounced his Kyrgyz citizenship in 2014.
