The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced that it will summon today the ambassadors of the countries of the Council for security of the United Nations, who supported the proposal for Palestine to become a full member of the United Nations, reported France Press, quoted by BTA.
"The ambassadors of France, Japan, South Korea, Malta, Slovakia and Ecuador will be summoned tomorrow and they will be told" Israel's displeasure on this issue, said yesterday's statement of the Foreign Ministry on the "X" social network.
A protest will also be addressed to the embassies of the countries that supported the proposal.
According to the Israeli Foreign Ministry, the text of the protest will be as follows: "A political gesture towards the Palestinians and a call for the recognition of a Palestinian state, six months after the October 7 massacre, is a reward for terrorism.
"Israel will not accept the creation of a terrorist state that poses a risk to Israeli citizens," the Israeli ministry said.
A draft resolution offering full membership for Palestine was rejected by the UN Security Council in a vote on Thursday after the United States vetoed it.
