The Georgian Parliament today approved the second reading of the draft law on "foreign agents", reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
The agency adds that this legislation has sparked street protests in the South Caucasus state for weeks.
According to footage from local television channels, today near the parliament building, during the discussion of the bill, there were clashes between protesters and the police.
The ruling party "Georgian Dream" also organized a demonstration, but in defense of the bill, Reuters recalls.
