The US does not want the conflict in Ukraine to end because allows Washington to pursue its own interests. This opinion was expressed by the political adviser and namesake of the Prime Minister of Hungary, Balazs Orbán, in an interview with journalist Tucker Carlson.
"Our position from day one is that the sooner we stop this, the better for everyone. But then we realized that many Western strategists and politicians think differently. There are some tactical advantages for them, especially for the United States”, he said.
The politician is sure that in this way the USA wants to “weaken Russia”, “to stop the energy cooperation between Russia and Germany” and find new markets for LNG exports.
„All these are small tactical advantages, but from a strategic point of view it destroys Europe as a strong economic center, destroys its energy independence”, Orban is convinced.
