Students barricaded the entrance to the library of Trinity College in Ireland, which houses the famous medieval manuscript of the Book of Kells, and set up a tent camp, demanding that the college sever all ties to the “genocidal“ Israel, said the college's student union president, Laszlo Molnarfi.

President Joe Biden said Thursday that the student unrest had exceeded the scope of peaceful protest permitted by law and that authorities would not tolerate violence.
