Video taken by an eyewitness shows the plane landing on the lane of the Talinas highway coming from the direction of Riga. On landing, the plane flows into the stream of cars, its left wing slightly catches a traffic sign, which changes the trajectory of the plane, forcing it to cross into the opposite lane, but successfully avoids a collision with the cars.
Preliminary information available to the State Police indicates that the forced landing was caused by technical problems in the plane's wing.
