The rulers in Moscow do not plan to limit the work of foreign companies on the Russian market despite Western sanctions against the country. This was stated today by the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin in front of the lower house of the parliament of the Russian Federation - the State Duma, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
He presented the program of his new government, after which the State Duma voted to nominate him for another term as prime minister.
According to the country's constitution, the country's previous government automatically resigned on May 7 when Putin was sworn in for a new presidential term, Reuters recalls. Putin then nominated Mishustin for a new term as prime minister.
In his speech before the State Duma, Mishustin also indicated that his cabinet does not plan to impose restrictions on the business of Russian companies that also operate in foreign markets.
Mikhail Mishustin has been the Prime Minister of Russia since 2020.
