16 missiles and 31 drones were destroyed by Russian air defenses, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported, quoted by Reuters and BTA.
Twelve of the missiles were shot down over the Belgorod Region.

Ukraine has not commented on the information regarding the strikes on the territory of Russia. Kiev says the strikes on Russia's military, transport and energy infrastructure undermine Moscow's military efforts and are a response to countless deadly attacks by Russia, Reuters notes.
