US Attorney General Merrick Garland called former US President Donald Trump's claims that The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was authorized to shoot him during a 2022 raid at his "Mar a Largo" in the state of Florida "infidels" and "extremely dangerous", reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
Garland told reporters that Trump and some of his allies have referred to a "standard operating plan," that places limits on when FBI agents can use weapons to execute search warrants.
The FBI raided Trump's "Mar a Largo" in Florida in August 2022 to seize classified material he has kept since leaving the presidency. Agents discovered numerous such documents that led to one of the four criminal prosecutions the former US president currently faces.
