The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense equipment shot down a Ukrainian fighter MiG- 29. The information was quoted by the BBC and News.bg.
The message states that two Ukrainian drones were destroyed over the territory of Belgorod region on Wednesday afternoon.
The Russian military also said that the troop group "North" advances in depth of the Ukrainian defense in the Kharkiv region and that three brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were struck, including in the Volchansk region.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the last 24 hours amounted to up to 165 servicemen, two infantry fighting vehicles, seven vehicles, one D-20 howitzer, a self-propelled artillery installation Paladin, two radio electronic warfare stations "Bukovel -AD", as well as an ammunition depot.
