Nine Israeli soldiers were injured, two of them seriously, in a munitions explosion at a military base , reports France Press and News.bg.
"Ammunition exploded at a military base in southern Israel. The incident is being investigated," the army said. The explosion happened yesterday. Wounded soldiers are undergoing treatment.
Israeli media reports that the explosion occurred at a base in the Negev desert.
The incident takes place at a time when the Israeli army is trying to destroy "Hamas" after the unprecedented attack from Gaza on October 7.
The attack killed at least 1,194 people on the Israeli side - mostly civilians.
