One person died in Poland in an explosion and fire at a weapons factory, DPA reported, quoted by dariknews.bg, citing local media.
The deceased is a 59-year-old employee of the arms company "MESCO", a police spokesman told the private television channel "TVN 24". According to initial data, the fire started in one of the company's warehouses in the town of Skarzysko-Kamenna, about 125 km south of the capital Warsaw.
The fire department of the plant was able to extinguish the fire. The reasons are still being clarified and an investigation is underway.
