The head of the Kharkiv Oblast Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, said that in the past 24 hours four people died and 11 were injured as a result of Russian shelling in the Kharkiv region, quoted by the BBC and News.bg.
The violence did not escape residents of Kyiv and Saltiv, two regions in Kharkiv. Here the use of guided aerial bombs resulted in the death of one person and the wounding of seven others. The shelling also left a trail of destruction, damaging 35 houses, 86 garages and 22 cars. The situation in the Chuguev area is just as dire, with two dead and two injured. In addition, near the village of Dementievka shelling and anti-aircraft fire claimed one life and wounded three more people.
Earlier, Sinegubov announced that a man had died in the hospital, who was pulled out from under the rubble of a private home the day before after Russian airstrikes on Kharkiv, as quoted by News.bg.
The Russian military has yet to respond or comment on the allegations of shelling in Kharkiv and surrounding regions.
