Canada announced plans to send about 2,000 warhead-less missiles and other weapons to Ukraine - 1

Canada announced plans to send about 2,000 surplus missiles, albeit without warheads, along with a variety of other military equipment. Minister of National Defense Bill Blair shared this news, underscoring Canada's continued commitment to Ukraine's defense efforts, BTA reports.

Before shipment, Canadian experts spent months meticulously inspecting the missiles to ensure their safe operation. This careful preparation underscores Canada's approach to responsible military assistance.

Following the initial delivery of missiles, Canada intends to send warheads to Ukraine, as confirmed by a spokesman for Minister Blair. This step indicates a phased approach to the military support offered.

In addition to missiles, Canada's aid package includes 29 remote-controlled German engineered weapon stations designed to enhance the firepower of various armored vehicles. In addition, Ukraine will receive 130,000 small arms ammunition, which will further strengthen its defense capabilities against aggression.
