US serviceman Gordon Black, detained in the Russian city of Vladivostok, has pleaded not guilty to the charges of threatening to kill his girlfriend.

However, he partially admitted his guilt on the charges of theft, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA, referring to Russian media.

The American soldier was stationed in South Korea, but was detained in Russia on May 2. He said at the second hearing in his case that he pleaded not guilty to the threat to kill. Regarding the theft, he believes that his guilt is partial because he "had no intention".

Black was detained on suspicion of stealing from his Russian girlfriend. He was subsequently charged with threatening to kill her.

RIA Agency specifies that in May Black pleaded guilty to theft charges and cooperated with the investigation.
