Crew of the anti-tank missile system (ATRK) "Fagot" from troop group "West" destroyed an American armored personnel carrier (APC) M113 in the direction of Svatovo, reported to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"Crew of the anti-tank missile complex "Fagot" motorized rifle brigade from the group of forces "West" destroyed an American armored personnel carrier M113, as well as a stronghold of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Svatovsko direction in the zone of a special military operation, the department said.
They specified that military intelligence reported the discovered targets to the ATGM crew. With the help of objective video surveillance equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles, they detected the advance of the equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces towards the front line, which was trying to carry out a maneuver to deliver servicemen to Russian positions.
The scouts gave the coordinates of the checkpoint, from where the combat task was sent to the crew of the “Fagot“, who was on duty in the area of his responsibility. Anti-tank vehicles quickly moved to the indicated area and destroyed the targets.
"The enemy was hit by a direct hit, equipment was destroyed, and the enemy no longer had the means to supply troops. The guys strengthened and these forest belts came under our full control, which allowed us to move forward,” said the crew commander, nicknamed Mamura, in a video released by the Russian Defense Ministry.
