This trip, Xi's fifth to Kazakhstan, includes participation in the 24th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Astana. Xi will then continue his diplomatic tour with a state visit to Tajikistan. Accompanied by key figures such as Foreign Minister Wang Yi and CCP official Tsai Chi, Xi's visit underscores the importance of these diplomatic efforts. The SCO, which includes countries such as India, China, Russia and now Iran, represents a significant portion of the world's population.
