The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, resumed his official activities, nearly six weeks after the assassination attempt, reports STV.

Fico's first stop was at the agricultural association Agro Voderady, located in Slovenska Nova Ves, a village near Trnava in western Slovakia. During his visit, he took a close look at the current harvest and predicted that the 2024 harvest may not be as rich as in past years.

"Climate changes must be perceived as a reality, which is proven by the earlier start of harvesting in the country”, the Slovak Prime Minister said, as quoted by Focus.

For the first time since the accident, Fico appeared in the public eye last Friday. He attended a celebration on the occasion of the national holiday of St. St. Cyril and Methodius.

In the town of Devin, near the capital Bratislava, he addressed the crowd with a short speech marking his return to public engagements.
