Ukrainian forces for air defenses repelled an air attack by Russia against targets in Ukraine, including the capital Kiev, that night, Reuters reported, referring to today's statement of the Ukrainian Air Force, quoted by BTA.
Ukrainian Air Force announced that they destroyed all 11 drones launched by Russia against the territory of Ukraine last night.
The drones were destroyed over Mykolaiv, Cherkassy, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy and Donetsk regions, the Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement posted on the Telegram communication application.
Reuters eyewitnesses say they heard explosions early this morning on the outskirts of Kiev, the kind heard when air defense systems are operating.
There are currently no reports of damage from the attack or falling debris.
